The company F.Filippidis S.A. has been active in the field of recycling and trading of scrap and metal for at least five decades, having the most modern privately owned trucks, mobile and stationary press-cutting machines for cutting iron and other metals, as well as cable processing machines.

  • Legitimacy

    We have all the necessary collection - transport - management licenses for the whole Greek territory as well as privately owned facilities in the area of Thessaloniki and Kozani.

  • State projects

    The company is active in the field of recycling in bidding tenders of public entities such as PPC SA, Army Pension Fund, Former OΔΔY SA, Thessaloniki Urban Transport Authority, Thessaloniki Port Authority SA, HELLENIC PETROLEUM SA, OSE SA.

  • Certification

    We are certified with ISO 14001 (Environmental Management System), ISO 9001 (Quality Management System) and we follow the strictest rules when processing recyclable materials to turn them into secondary raw materials which are given to the steel mills for further processing.

  • Responsibility

    The company is contracted with the Alternative Management System for Accumulators (SY.DE.SYS SA) and is licensed to collect and transport used lead acid batteries on a nationwide scale. It is also contracted with the Alternative Packaging Management System (KEPED SA) and is engaged in the collection and transport of metal packaging.

Our Facilities

The company has privately owned facilities in Ionia, Thessaloniki, address behind Halyvourgiou. It also has additional packaging space both in Thessaloniki at the sorting station and in Drepano, Kozani. We have all the necessary cutting and processing machinery for iron and metal as well as our own trucks for the transport and collection of scrap.
In addition, the company has a specially designed area for the cleaning and processing of end-of-life vehicles (ELVs) so that all requirements for the safe and correct recycling of cars are met.

Finally, the company has all the necessary licenses and ISO required for the operation and handling of the processing and recycling of iron and metal. Having as a primary objective the guarantee of quality and the protection of the environment, our company carries out all its activities on this axis and in full compliance with global standards.
